• CHECK SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  The first thing you need to do is to check the compatabilty of our setup program with your computer's operating system. Hey-Ya! Dialup's setup program works on the following operating systems:

  • Windows 95(1)
  • Windows 98
  • Windows NT
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows ME
  • Windows XP
  • Macintosh
  • Linux

  Notes:
  (1) Windows 95 users must have Microsoft Dial-up Networks, version 1.1 or higher installed. To download the latest version of Dial-Up Networking for free here click here.
  
  

• CHOOSE A PLAN

  Once you have verified that our setup program is compatable with your computer's operating system, you are ready to choose an internet service plan. Hey-Ya! Dialup in conjunction with ConnectTo offers (2) plans to choose from:

  • 150 Hours of Internet Access:
    $9.99 per month (with a one time activation fee of $9.00); 56K-V.90/V.92 internet connection for 150 hours each month.

  • Unlimited Internet Access:
    $11.99 per month (with a one time activation fee of $9.00); 56K-V.90/V.92 Internet connection for UNLIMITED hours each month.
    
    
  Whichever plan you choose, YOUR MONTHLY RATE IS GUARANTEED FOR LIFE. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. Your billing renews on the same day each month. So, if you sign up on the 24th of the month, your account will renew each month on the 24th. There is no penalty for signing up late in the month.

  Once you have chosen an internet service plan, you are ready to check for availability in your area. Hey-Ya! Dialup provides access through over 6,000 access telephone numbers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

  Notes:
  1) When checking, for availability of service in your area, make sure you select your desired service plan before entering your area code.
  
  2) The Unlimited plan offers unlimited useage, however fewer access numbers are available.
  
  3) The 150 hour plan is not only less expensive, but also has a broader range of numbers.

• CONFIGURE DIALUP NETWORKING

  Through the "instant online activation" process, the setup download program from our site should configure the dial-up connection for you automatically. If not, you can manually configure dial-up networking yourself. For detailed instructions on how to manually configure dial-up networking and on how to configure your email client software click here.

• CONNECT TO THE INTERNET

  Once you have successfully completed the "instant online activation" process, you're ready to connect to the internet. You connect simply through dial-up networking, no software is installed on your computer. You can use your favorite browser, just open your internet browser program and click on connect. After connecting to the Internet, you will be able to browse the Web, send and receive email, cancel your current ISP account, and much more!

  You can also create a shortcut icon on your desktop for the connection if you want.
